Upgrading Router to DD-WRT?

I have a Linksys WRT54G v2 and I want to put DD-WRT on it so a can set up a repeater bridge, but when I go to the setup (linksys firmware), almost nothing is there except the first page but you can't even change anything. HELP PLEASE! THANKS.
