Should i boycott alchohol companies?

Well, i prefer marijuana because it dosnt just make you stupid and drunk like alchohol, it causes intense relaxation and self realization, plus its healthier for you if ingested or vaporized, but im tryin to keep a job and i cant. But i know a huge reason its illegal is cause big alchohol companies like jack daniels and captain morgan are huge reasons its illegal (besides paper and other companies that would be down if industrial hemp were legalized) and i was wondering if im the only one boycotting alchohol companies for applying facist laws to protect their profits and if one boycotter would have much of an impact.
