Do you think because I started puberty quite late, that it affected my sexuality?

I'm a 18 year old girl, and i started puberty quite late when I was 15 almost 16 and I didn't really understand or have strong as feelings for girls until i was about 16ish and now its in full throttle and i'm a lesbian, but I do you think me having a late puberty made my realization of being lesbian later than someone who started puberty at age 12?
